Through this prayer, we plead for healing for those who are unwell, financial support for the poor, and peace and wellness for Israel and all of humankind. Liska has long held a unique significance in the Jewish world, as it is the site where the Liska Rebbe constructed a renowned synagogue, one of the largest in Europe during its time. The memory of the town and its tzadik remains alive and vibrant in Jewish communities, as countless individuals come to request blessings following the Kivrei Tzadikim customs.

Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער), who is also known as Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן) and the respected author of Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה), remains a significant figure among Hasidic leaders, with his teachings influencing followers even today The Rebbe’s deep Torah knowledge and Hasidic wisdom were shaped by his time as a disciple of the famous Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), also known as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה). The enduring disciple relationship is vibrant in Hasidic communities, notably among Satmar adherents, who pay tribute to the memories of Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.
